Spring Wedding Ideas: Take Cover

Pair Wedding BellsYou're planning a wedding in the warm spring sunshine under an arbor of delicate roses. You have a deposit on the location in the midst of a English-style outdoor garden. The seating, menu and your dress are all planned for or on order.

And naturally, you've made contingencies in case of rain. Right?

No? Never fear: there are still options available for your big day, even on short notice. Even better, not all need break the wedding bank.

Start by considering a wedding tent. Generally, renters of wedding items such as tents require notice (as much as six months), but most suppliers have backup coverings available that are in excellent condition. If you can't match your wedding color scheme, don't worry: wedding white is always an option for virtually any type of wedding.

You may be allowed to decorate your wedding tent with flowers, hanging baskets and perhaps lighting. Be sure to ask the rental company in advance, as safety precautions may apply (particularly in regards to the type of lighting so as not to pose a fire hazard).

If you have a bit more time on your hands and haven't yet put a deposit on a reception and wedding hall, you can find out about an indoor wedding with an outdoor "feel". Some reception locations overlook scenic areas and have large windows or glass doors to bring the beauty of nature inside without risking ruined hair and wedding clothes.

You can even nudge the possible weather outcome in your favor by planning the wedding in an area of the state or country that tends to experience milder weather overall; for instance, some areas of Vermont are frequently rainy, while others are a few degrees warmer and tend to be drier.Upscale Vine Stationery
